Fried Chicken

Ingredients

3 Cups flour
5 TBS Lawry’s Seasoned Salt
3 TBS Garlic Powder
4 eggs, beaten
Salt and Pepper to taste
2 chickens, cut into 8 or more pieces
Enough vegetable oil to fill a large frying pan about 1" deep

Instructions

Mix flour, Lawry’s, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
Roll chicken pieces, one at a time, in flour mixture to coat, then dip into egg, then roll in flour mixture again.

Heat oil in pan to 350 degrees.  Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes a side.  Lower heat to medium, cover and cook for 10 minutes.  Remove cover, turn heat back to high and cook 5 minutes a side. 

Remove chicken and drain.

This recipe is for two whole chickens, but can be reduced proportionately for smaller quantities.
