1 package (12 ounces) dried egg noodles
¼ cup butter (or more), unsalted is okay
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Cook the noodles per package instructions. Drain and return to pot. Heat the butter in a small saucepan over medium-high heat until brown. Stir at the bottom of the pan to make sure it doesn’t burn.
Pour the butter over the noodles. Add salt, pepper and parsley; stir well. Serve soon.
This dish does reheat well in the microwave.

You shouldn’t need a recipe for buttered noodles. You cook the noodles and mix them with melted butter. Here is a variation that adds a new dimension to the flavor.
