Teriyaki Sauce

1/4 cup Soy sauce

1 cup water

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

5 tablespoons packed brown sugar

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/4 cup water


Mix first six ingredients in a small saucepan and begin heating over medium heat.

Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup water in a small bowl to dissolve. Add this mixture to saucepan.

Heat until sauce reaches desired thickness, whisking constantly.

If it gets away from you and gets too thick, remove from heat, add water a little at a time and whisk like hell to thin it out.
