I told Carrie Lynn that I regretted never seeing some bands and performers in person, such as The Doors, Rush, Ozzie.  She told me to stop whining and think about, and appreciate, those that I have been fortunate to see.

So I made a list.  She was right.  I have no reason to complain.

And I apologize in advance to those I have forgotten.

Some clarification:

David Cassidy:  I saw him in Fort Wayne Indiana when I took my then 12 year-old sister-in-law to her first concert.

Fugees: They were one of the groups that played at a KROQ Wienie Roast.  They were late for their performance as they were reported to be in their hotel doing drugs.  When they did finally show up, the organizeres were so pissed that even though they were not yet finished with their first song, the circular stage was rotated, effectively giving them “the hook”. So I only heard part of one song from this group.

Jewel: Our Texas friend Liz Gonzalez Trinkle introduced us to Professional Bull Riding.  We were attending a PBR event at the Anaheim Pond when Jewel sang the National Anthem.  So again, just one song.  This night was also memorable as they filmed a scene for the TV series “Entourage” that was to show  someone riding a bull and the rodeo clowns that protect the fallen riders.  No one told the cameraman that the bull was not an actor.  He was on one knee looking through the lens (not at the bull) when the bull charged and knocked him to the ground.  No serious injuries.
