{"id":488,"date":"2001-01-01T21:00:06","date_gmt":"2001-01-01T21:00:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pauldearing.com\/?p=488"},"modified":"2024-05-05T13:17:26","modified_gmt":"2024-05-05T20:17:26","slug":"snickerdoodles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pauldearing.com\/?p=488","title":{"rendered":"Snickerdoodles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>1 cup butter (softened)&nbsp;&nbsp; <br \/>1 1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>2 eggs (beaten)<br \/>2 3\/4 cups flour<br \/>2 teaspoons cream of tartar<br \/>1 teaspoons baking soda<\/p>\n<p>Cinnamon sugar for rolling<br \/>3 tablespoons sugar<br \/>1 tablespoon cinnamon<br \/>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 400F.&nbsp; Mix flour, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Set flour mixture aside.&nbsp; Cream butter and sugar at medium speed until fluffy.&nbsp; Add eggs while mixing at low speed.&nbsp; Slowly add flour mixture until well mixed.<\/p>\n<p>Roll into 1 inch diameter balls.&nbsp; Coat balls by rolling in cinnamon sugar mixture.&nbsp; Place on cool ungreased cookie sheets.&nbsp; Bake 8 &#8211; 10 minutes. Edges will have hint of light golden brown.
