{"id":1581,"date":"2022-06-25T08:41:28","date_gmt":"2022-06-25T15:41:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pauldearing.com\/?p=1581"},"modified":"2025-09-23T17:42:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T00:42:44","slug":"tuna-noodle-casserole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pauldearing.com\/?p=1581","title":{"rendered":"Tuna Noodle Casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">(Carrie&#8217;s Notes Bold and Blue)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 cups medium egg noodles\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"> <b>(112 grams &#8211; actually 3 cups.\u00a0 We like Bechtel brand)<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li>1 can Campbell&#8217;s Cream of Mushroom Soup<\/li>\n<li>2 six ounce cans of tuna, drained (solid white tuna in water preferred) <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">(shrinkflation may require 3 cans to equal 12 ounces)<\/span><\/li>\n<li>1\/2 cup milk<\/li>\n<li>1 1\/2 cups frozen peas, thawed <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>(3 cups make it &#8220;peatastic&#8221;)<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li>Pepper, freshly ground<\/li>\n<li>Kosher salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>4 tablespoons Italian bread crumbs <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><b>(56 grams)<\/b><\/span><\/li>\n<li>3 tablespoons salted butter, melted<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Directions:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preheat oven to 400 degrees.<\/li>\n<li>Cook the noodles per instructions, dump in slightly salted boiling water for 8 minutes<\/li>\n<li>While the water is heating up, put the peas in a large measuring cup with about 3 cups of water, microwave\u00a0 for six minutes.
